March thru May are Head Lice Season
 
Ways to prevent Head Lice:
 
  1.  Tell your child don't share hat's combs and even scarf's.
 
2.  head lice does not jump, but if you are shoulder to shoulder they can
     crawl from shoulder to shoulder
 
3.  Here at Gee Gee's we have products that will help prevent head lice
 
     Products are: 
     - Lice Defense Shampoo and Lice Tree Leave-in Conditioner.
     - Paul Mitchell tea tree shampoo (which has a menthol smell)
 
4.  For Stuffed animal if you place in a seal able bag for at least 3 weeks
     it will kill the lice.
 
Head Lice can be very expensive, but for $24.00 you get Shampoo and Leave in conditioner which the whole family can use. The head lice avoid tea tree oil which is in the Lice Defense Shampoo and Leave in conditioner. Ride Shampoo or spray for furniture and washing all used linens and much more will cost you a fortune.
 
Many parents in the past come and purchase the Lice Defense after there child had had head lice, so they don't get it again.
 
Head lice does not mean you are not clean. Head lice does not discriminate, rich, middle class, or even poor you can get head lice.
 
Months when many out breaks accure are Sept and Oct. Dec., May and June.
